The fast and simplified option for hiking to the top of the volcano from the North side, reaching the base of the active craters by mechanical means. This tour and hike is designed for those who want to reach the summit of Mount Etna in half a day, using 4x4 vehicles to get to 2900m, then climb another 400m in elevation on foot and arrive at the edge of the steaming, hot and restless craters of the summit area. Hikers will receive information and see, smell, feel all the elements of this dynamic, evolving place.
