Cableway + Hiking

A hike through the moon-like terrain of the black desert and lateral craters of Piano Del Lago, at sunset and blue hour above 2500m on the South side of Etna. The hybrid solution for hiking the typically volcanic area just under the summit active craters, ascending with the iconic gondola lift from the touristic station on the South flank at 1900m until 2500m and then hiking up. This trip takes you high up to cross a landscape composed of pyroclastic cones, recent lava fields, vegetation living in extreme conditions and sharp carpets of lava rocks. The way down is completed at night with headlamps through sand slopes and lower craters.
