We had an extraordinary time at Puleera. Every detail on the site and in the room is thought out, they restored the beautiful old building and added modern elements to it. Paola, her family and the service were all super friendly, very accommodating of all our needs and easy to reach. Plus, it felt very private as there are not many rooms. Breakfast was amazing and Dinner homecooked. We are still in awe!!! Thank you so much!! :)

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno fantastico al Puleera Boutique Hotel. Paola è una padrona di casa meravigliosa che ci ha dato molti consigli per la zona e ci ha servito una buona colazione ogni mattina. Ci ha anche aiutato quando la nostra auto a noleggio ha avuto problemi. L'hotel ha una vista mozzafiato sul vigneto, sul mare e sull'Etna. Consiglierei di soggiornare qui a chiunque voglia esplorare questa zona.

Wo Meer und Ätna sich auf halbem Weg begegnen, entspringt ein kleines Paradies. Puleera ist ein Ort mit alter Seele und langer Tradition. In den Gemäuern stecken Geschichten über Geschichten, die von der Familie D'Amico gewahrt und mit viel Liebe weitergetragen werden. Die sizilianische Wärme ist hier nicht nur durch die Sonne spürbar, sondern vor allem durch die Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber, die das geschichtsträchtige Familienanwesen mit viel Hingabe restauriert haben und nun für Gäste aus der ganzen Welt öffnen. Mein Mann und ich fühlten uns unheimlich wohl an diesem besonderen Ort. Paola und ihre Eltern sind wunderbare Menschen, die alles dafür tun, dass man sich als Gast rundum wohlfühlt. Das Hotel ist ideal für Ausflüge in der Umgebung und entspannte Stunden auf dem Anwesen. Wir kommen wieder - das ist sicher!

We had an amazing time in early March 2023 at this beautiful old winery/villa turned boutique hotel perched between Mount Etna and the sea. The hospitality of Paola and her family is outstanding and they made us feel welcome, looked after every moment of our one-week stay, and helped us organise activities. The mornings started with a delicious breakfast including homemade food and unique Sicilian treats such as granita and fresh pastries. When the weather was nice (which luckily was almost every day), we had breakfast on their stunning terrace with views on Etna and the sea. My partner celebrated her birthday here and the staff organised a birthday cake for the day. We also made our own pasta and had a delicious home cooked 3-course meal during our stay. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden with citrus trees and vines. Our room was next to the reception area. It was quiet, spacious and had all necessary amenities. The beautifully restored ceiling fresco made the room extra special. There’s lots of nice places to sit and relax outside. We hired a car and explored the surrounding area. There is lots to see, as the hotel is conveniently located between Catania and Taormina with many small seaside towns in between. The town the hotel is located in has several good bakeries and an amazing hammam/spa which we would definitely recommend.

Meine Frau und ich waren im Mai drei Nächte im zauberhaften „Puleera Boutique Hotel“. Es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick! Die Zufahrt durch Weinreben, Orangen-, Zitronen- und Avocado-Plantagen, der Kies unter den Reifen und Füssen knirscht, vor Augen ein Hofgut aus dem 15. Jahrhundert, auf dem Balkon eine über das ganze Gesicht strahlende Gastgeberin - ein Ankommen und Empfang, als würde man „Heim“ kommen - obwohl man sich noch nie sah. Jedes Zimmer ein Kunstwerk. Im Detail, in der Einrichtung - die Decken- und Wandbemalungen! So etwas Schönes haben wir noch nie gesehen. Ein Traum. Eine Poesie. Mit „feinster Klinge“ und dünnstem Pinsel renoviert und saniert. Ein „Dornröschen“ wurde aus dem Tiefschlaf geweckt - in voller Pracht. Paola D’Amico, eine Gastgeberin die die Geschichte des Hauses lebt und mit Wärme und Herzlichkeit füllt. Wir werden wieder kommen. Wir reisten mit einem Gefühl ab, als hätten wir neue Freunde gefunden und in Sizilien „ein neues Zuhause“
